Happy Autumnal Equinox or First Day of Fall!

Picture(s) of the week. It’s hard to believe that today is the first day of fall when yesterday afternoon it was 90 degrees here in the sub-tropics. When I lived in New England, the trees were already starting to turn their beautiful colors.

Fortunately, the last few weeks when I leave for my early morning walks, the temperature is in the low 70’s, and it feels great! Each morning, I’m blessed with the ability to choose different routes to walk, depending on how I feel. This morning, I didn’t feel it; I only did 3.2 miles. Last Saturday, however, I walked 5.3 miles and felt like I could have kept going. With the sunrise later in the morning, I’m not always seeing the sunrise, like this morning. Saturday, however, I did see the stars, moon, and sun, as you can see from these two pictures.
