Mote SEA

Happy Monday, Friends!!
Picture(s) of the week. As I’ve previously mentioned, for some reason on my early Sunday morning walks, I end up in Nathan Benderson Park, https://nathanbendersonpark.org, a lakefront venue for rowing competitions. My round trip is about seven miles. Actually, the distance around the lake is used for 5K competitions.
The daylight picture I’m sharing today, which I took a few months ago, is of Benderson’s Viewing Tower, and in the distance is the new Mote Science Education Aquarium, also known as Mote SEA. The construction, as I understand it, is complete, and they are in the process of transferring various marine life from the Mote Marine Laboratories and Aquarium, which was established in 1955. https://mote.org
The other picture is similar but taken before dawn, yesterday. Sorry, it’s not that clear, but I was mesmerized that Mote SEA was bathed in a beautiful blue light, most likely representing the ocean. I’m looking forward to visiting the aquarium’s new home.
I hope everyone has a great week!! Peace and Blessings to you all!! --- Jack
