Second Heart Homes, founded by Magen Howell, is a Sarasota, Florida, nonprofit dedicated to providing housing and support for individuals experiencing homelessness. Its mission is simple but powerful: acquire homes, renovate them, and create safe, stable living environments where people can begin rebuilding their lives. Patricia and I first met Megan in 2021.

 I recently published the third and final book in "The Living Well Series." Patricia and I felt it would be meaningful to support Megan’s mission by donating a complete three-book set to every one of the eleven residences in the Second Heart Home’s program.

The Picture of the Week is of Megan and me as I deliver copies of The Living Well Series to residents for the two newest homes. It was a small gesture, but one that Patricia and I hope will encourage, inspire, and remind others that every new chapter begins with hope.
