Happy Monday, Everyone! “Picture(s) of the Week”
As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, I walk 3 to 4 miles every morning, weather permitting.
In researching my first book, “Empower your Golden Years, A Holistic Approach to Vitality, Confidence and Well-Being,” as we age, walking is one of the best exercises we can do.
And if you didn’t have a walking routine like I didn’t until I retired, a great goal is to build yourself up to a speed of 2 to 2.5 miles per hour.
Along my different walking paths, there are speeding signs to remind people how fast they are driving through the neighborhoods. I was pleased to see I can walk up to 4 miles per hour.
The other sign makes you feel special, and the light post makes you smile.
The other picture is of another beautiful sunrise here in the subtopics of southwest Florida.
