Happy Monday, Friends!!
Picture(s) of the Week.
Today’s Picture(s) of the Week once again comes from my Sunday walk over to Nathan Benderson Park, https://nathanbendersonpark.org, It’s a little over six miles round trip. I always enjoy watching the sunrise over the water. One photo shows the racing viewer tower with the sun in the background, and the other depicts someone working out in a sculling boat.
Regarding miles walked, if you read my last newsletter, which you can sign up to receive on my website at www.jackfwilson.com, you know I have a goal of walking at least 1,200 miles this calendar year. As of today, 11/17/25, I’ve walked 1058.2 miles. I should be able to do it, weather permitting.
Since my last post, it has been a very busy week. Last Monday I had my very first Uber ride. At first, I didn’t think it was a good idea, but my wife Patricia convinced me to reconsider. I’m glad I did. We traveled about an hour and a half from where we lived to meet up with my son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren, who were visiting the Clearwater, FL area from New England. It was the coldest day of the year, with a wind chill factor. We were scheduled for a “Topical Cruise,” but fortunately, it was canceled due to the wind and choppy waters. I’m not sure the partially open-air aquarium was any warmer, but it was great to see everyone again.
On Wednesday, Patricia presented her artwork turned into textiles for the Home for the Holidays! Tablescape, Design and Decor Event to the residences of The Meadows! To get your free copy of the beautiful handout, visit her website and sign up for her newsletter at www.patriciacwilson.com
I hope everyone has a great week!! Peace and Blessings to you all!! --- Jack
