Happy Monday Friends! Picture(s) of the week.
This time of the year, in what’s referred to as the “sub-topics, southwest Florida, the weather can be very unpredictable. It’s not unusual for me to leave on my morning walks around 5:30 am; it’s still dark, pushing 80 to 85 degrees, humid, and with possible rain showers. I check the weather before I leave, and if there’s a 20% chance of rain, I’ll still walk.
The other day, about an hour into my walk, the sun started to rise, and I got this nice picture, thinking, no rain this morning. Well, about 40 minutes and a couple of miles later, I did miss the rain shower, but I was just in time to capture this beautiful rainbow. Mother Nature is amazing!!!
For those of you who have followed me, you know that after I retired for the second time, I started writing non-fiction, self-help books and have published two so far. Book #3, I expect to be published by the end of September, with nine more in the works.
