Happy Monday, Friends! Picture(s) of the week.

When I started my walk on Sunday morning, a little after 6 am, I remember having two thoughts, one, it seems that all of a sudden, it’s darker that a few weeks ago, and two, I didn’t need any more photos for PoW because I already had a great selection from last week to choose from.
Well, that didn’t last long. I’m sharing three photos, one from Saturday and two from Sunday.
I decided to take a photo of the very first signs of the sunrise; you can see all the clouds and the beautiful colors. I figured it could be the last time I see the sunrise for a few days because of possible stormy weather coming our way.
Another photo, taken about half an hour later, is of the moon and a cloud reflecting the sun, which is behind me.
Last week we had a full moon. That photo is the moon with its reflection in the water. Always a very cool sight. I’ve taken photos of this pond before where the alligators roam wild and free, so I move pretty quickly past here.
Those of you who have been following my Monday, Pictures of the Week, know that I walk every day, weather permitting. There are numerous benefits to walking. I’m a lot healthier; I’m out in Mother Nature, taking interesting pictures and sharing them with you, meeting some very interesting people, and developing friendships.
Yesterday I saw six people, two of whom I knew, and we talked briefly. I met three new walkers with interesting stories to share. One lady and I bonded over the fact that we both hold pilot’s licenses. She, along with her husband and two sons, holds their instrument rating and twin-engine certification, which is impressive. I’m certified, single-engine land and seaplane, no instrument.
Another lady told me she and her late husband owned multiple “record shops.” They sold half and kept three, but the internet pretty much forced them out of the business. They tried to sell their inventory for pennies on the dollar and found they couldn’t even give them away. They ended up throwing away over 15,000 cassettes into a dumpster.
The last person was a retired eye surgeon, heading off to play tennis. He explained his specialty and took pride in the fact that during his time in medical school, he delivered 47 babies.
You just never know who you’ll meet! Have a great week!
Peace and Blessings to you all!
