Too Cold to Walk

Happy Monday, Friends!!

Picture(s) of the Week.

This week, I’m going back into my photo archive to post a couple of really cool pictures I’ve taken on my morning walks. For those of you who have followed my posts, I didn’t walk last week due to the weather. This morning it was 39 degrees.

When I retired and left Texas in 2023, I donated my very warm LL Bean clothing. I should have remembered from when I lived here before that there was about a month or so where I couldn’t wear golf shirts, shorts, and sandals. You can always tell when you see someone here on vacation.

I will admit, for me, it’s an age thing, at 77 years old and about to turn 78, when the temperature gets close to 70 degrees, I’ll put on a sweatshirt. It’s ok to think, “That’s Odd,” I did too, twenty years ago. I will promise you one thing: I’ll never wear shorts and sandals with white socks halfway up my calves to go food shopping at Publix! 😊

I hope everyone has a great week!

Peace and Blessings. Jack
